In May of 2011 I was diagnosed with celiac disease. There is no cure. It seems like no big deal – you can’t eat wheat. That can’t be too hard can it? I mean there are lots more products on the market. You have no idea what this is like unless you try it and even then you can not understand how harmful a mistake can be – convulsing on the bathroom floor, vomiting violently for hours, I will not go on for your sake. It can be so overwhelming especially when you live in a house with your non-gluten free kids. One of us will forget to take note of which jar of jam we grabbed and use a knife with glutenous bread and now I have no jam, or butter, or heaven forbid Nutella (that requires an emergency trip to the grocery store). You also can not share an oven because gluten can stay air born in a heated environment for up to two hours – which means Boston Pizza’s gluten free pizza isn’t actually gluten free. Please don’t get me started on eating out with this disease! I have been reacting for weeks now and could not figure out why. Today I have discovered that it is likely my toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner. REALLY? There are times when it feels like there will never be an end to finding new things in my environment that are hurting me…
My hygiene products are killing me

ahh this sounds awful! So sorry that you’re going through that! I have a friend who always says that when God allows challenges, he’s actually saving us from something that could’ve been worse. I know a lot of conventional hygiene products can actually help cancerous cells multiply. It’s not fun, but in the end it’s probably for the best that you’re being forced away from those products!
So you need this… https://www.youngliving.org/jenrussell5
“Green Beaver”, a Canadian company has a line of gluten free products. Their stuff is awesome!
Oh man…no fun, but I do agree with what Megan said above. 🙂 Conventional products have so many chemicals, etc that we absorb right through our skin (even worse than eating because at least that way there’s stuff to help get rid of the nasties before we absorb them). I’ll be praying you find some good products that don’t hurt you!! Hugs
