If all goes as I would hope it to, I will be starting 2014 by attending a porn show for the 5th year in a row. For the past 4 years I have lead a team with xxxChurch to the Naught But Nice Sex Show in Vancouver. We have given out over 12,000 Bibles that tell people Jesus Loves Porn Stars.
It’s the message we bring to the over 50,000 entrants, vendors and entertainers at the show: regardless of your connection to pornography, Jesus loves you. Every year lives change, including mine.
I have formed life long friendships – and I am not talking about just our team members. I have met some incredible people and some really inspire me. I love to hear each persons story of how they ended up at the show or connected to the show, and I cherish my time spent with them – on the show floor or after.
Time is moving fast and all the things we need are not yet in place to be able to have the outreach for next year. We need a minimum of 10 committed team members who are willing to sacrifice a weekend and their comfort level to love people who need it. We need to raise a budget of $12,000.
